Types of Motorization
On the 1000 Series, three different motorization options can be installed, each designed for specific applications and requirements:
Direct Drive – The standard solution, with the motor mounted directly on the drive shaft. It ensures greater stability and easy maintenance.
Indirect Drive – The motor is separated from the main roller and transmits motion through a return system, ideal for limited spaces or particularly compact configurations.
Central Drive – The motor’s central position frees up the ends of the conveyor, making loading and unloading operations easier from both sides of the line.

Belt with Sidewalls
The belt is the core element of a conveyor, responsible for moving products along the line.
To ensure optimal performance, it is essential to carefully evaluate the type of load to be handled, so as to select the most suitable belt for the specific application requirements.
Starting from the standard base belt, additional solutions can be integrated, such as trapezoidal straps, cleats for incline changes, and side containment barriers to prevent products from falling during fast or inclined sections.
Alusic also offers various colors and materials for belt construction, such as PVC, PU, and raw PU, including versions suitable for use in the food industry.
Rolling knife edge
To reduce the gaps between two conveyors within a transport line, Alusic offers pre-configured kits for pinch roll return systems. In traditional drive and return systems, the gap that forms between the heads can cause small products or items with an unstable center of gravity—such as cans and bottles—to fall. Pinch roll return kits eliminate this risk, ensuring a smoother, safer, and more stable transfer of components along the line.
Stainless Steel Conveyors
For industries that require high standards of hygiene and easy cleaning—such as the food sector—Alusic, in collaboration with its technical department, designs stainless steel belt conveyors that prevent the accumulation of dust and debris, making cleaning and maintenance simple.
These solutions feature certified food-grade materials, welded or easily inspectable frames, and components designed to avoid stagnation areas. This ensures efficient and safe transport even in environments subject to frequent washing or strict hygiene regulations.
Accessories and Kits for Belt Conveyors
Side Guides
Side guides channel the product flow along the path and prevent accidental falls. They are made of aluminum profile with a polyamide cover, while the ends can be finished with a simple cap or with a shaped lead-in, useful for centering and guiding the product flow.
Support Legs
These provide structural support for the conveyor and are available in single-column versions (for narrower conveyors) or double-column versions. They can be floor-mounted and connected with crossbars to ensure greater stability. The fixing bracket between the leg and the conveyor is designed to prevent dust and dirt accumulation, making the system suitable even for environments with high hygiene requirements, such as the food industry.
Protective Covers
Designed by Alusic for safety and cleanliness, covers protect sensitive or potentially hazardous parts of the conveyor, such as rotation pins and fixing flanges. In addition to improving aesthetics, they reduce wear and protect operators from risks, ensuring a safer and more durable system.
Kits for conveyors
Alusic has optimized its range of conveyor belt solutions by offering complete, ready-to-use kits for every type and size of conveyor.
These standard kits are designed to ensure quick and intuitive installation, allowing anyone to assemble their own conveyor easily and efficiently. The system is based on a clear modular logic, dividing the conveyor structure into: Frame, Drive Kit, Return Kit, Support Legs, Dedicated Accessories.
The heads are available in numerous variants, ensuring maximum versatility and adaptability to different application needs. With Alusic kits, creating a custom conveyor becomes an immediate, reliable, and accessible operation for everyone.
