The IS Line effectively meets the needs of production line crossings, walkways alongside machinery, and height management.
Thanks to the sturdy design of the self-supporting modular aluminum step and the precise engineering of joints, handrails, and kick plates, the IS Line ensures a smooth design process, easy assembly, and a final result that is safe, durable, and perfectly functional in any operational context.

The IS Line has undergone a major redesign, resulting in significant improvements both in functionality and aesthetics.

Simplicity and Versatility

Fewer components, easier assembly.
The recent development of the IS Line has led to a thorough revision of its structural logic, aimed at making the entire system more intuitive, practical, and faster to install. The simplification process involved both a reduction in the number of components and the optimization of joints, now combined into a single, versatile, and functional element.

At the same time, new molds have been designed for the production of handrails, guardrails, supports, and side kick plates — each equipped with custom end caps developed to enhance overall aesthetics and provide protection against dust and impurities.

Another major step forward is the introduction of the new floor mounting plates, which replace the previous articulated joint. This evolution significantly increases the stability of the entire structure, improving its safety, strength, and long-term durability.

Modular Step

Alusic has developed a new anodized aluminum extrusion specifically designed for the construction of self-supporting steps compliant with current regulations. The profile design allows for a maximum width of 1200 mm, while ensuring an impressive load capacity — up to 150 kg concentrated at the center of the step and 200 kg/m² under distributed load conditions.

Each step features a riser height of 45 mm and a tread depth of 260 mm, dimensions carefully designed to ensure optimal user comfort and excellent stability during passage.
Thanks to its precise geometry, the system is easy to assemble: the steps can be joined together through a simple interlocking mechanism and secured with four screws, resulting in a solid, precise, and long-lasting structure.

New Joint

The centerpiece of the new IS Line is the articulated joint 084.313.014, a key element in the latest design evolution.
Specifically developed for connecting handrails and supports made with Ø40 mm profiles (codes 084.114.035 and 084.114.036), this component marks a significant step forward in construction simplicity and application versatility.

Its introduction has streamlined the entire product range, replacing most of the previously catalogued joints and simplifying the design process of stairs, walkways, and modular structures.
Made of sandblasted aluminum and PA, the joint combines strength with lightness and features an adjustable anti-rotation system, ensuring stable, precise, and long-lasting fastening.
