Environments and solutions
Workstations
Do you need to move tools and balancers close to workstations and workbenches?
Production lines
Do you need an auxiliary air transport line alongside your production line?
Heavy loads
Do you need to move heavy loads (over 50 kg) between different positions along a straight line?
Linear systems
Linear units are handling systems designed for light loads, ideal for supporting manual work on benches and workstations.
The KS line offers two solutions:
an external aluminum carriage sliding on a dedicated 45×61 mm profile,
a compact internal polyamide carriage running inside a 30×33 mm channel.
Both configurations are designed to transport loads up to 15 kg.
The second solution, featuring a polyamide channel and carriage, is compatible with AC slot 8 aluminum profiles and can be installed either underneath the profile or, using joining brackets, on the side.
Practicality and ergonomics
The handling of light loads through linear units significantly optimizes the operator’s work, increasing efficiency and productivity while minimizing physical effort and fatigue during routine operations. Thanks to their precision and ease of integration, linear units often represent the most practical, fast, and safe solution for automating movements.
Multifunctional rail
The Multifunctional Rail is an innovative solution that combines the handling of light loads with the integration of air ducts, minimizing both space requirements and maintenance costs. Compared to traditional separate distribution systems, it allows the production line to be organized more neatly and efficiently, enabling air supply drops at any required point.
In addition to its distribution function, the Multifunctional Rail allows the integration of additional accessories and components, such as lighting systems and channels for extra transport trolleys. The trolleys are available in two versions: polyamide, with a load capacity of up to 20 kg, or aluminum, ensuring safe transport of up to 40 kg. Thanks to the patented insertion system, new trolleys can be installed even on an active production line.
Versatile, practical, and state-of-the-art, the Multifunctional Rail is the ideal choice not only for the automotive sector but for any production environment that demands order, efficiency, and flexibility.

The profile used for the Multifunctional Rail integrates a Ø63 air duct.

It is possible to integrate a second guide for the trolley.

Air supply drops can be created at any point along the line.

The line is fully configurable and can be equipped with accessories as needed.

Patented system:
The multifunctional rail can be equipped with various types of trolleys, available in polyamide or aluminium, with load capacities of up to 20 kg and 40 kg, respectively. The double-wheel version completely eliminates vertical play, ensuring maximum precision even in the most demanding applications. To facilitate installation and allow the addition of new trolleys to an already operational line, each trolley is equipped with a patented rail insertion system. Specific trolleys are also available for pipes and cables with diameters ranging from 0 to 15 mm.
A Versatile Profile
The multifunctional rail uses the 90×135 mm profile (code 800.019.001) as its supporting structure. In addition to providing strength and stability, it integrates a 63 mm diameter air duct and a dedicated channel for trolley movement. The profile also features 8 free 8 mm slots, which can be used not only for fastening but also for adding accessories and extensions. Air outlets or compressed air drops can be integrated at any point along the profile, making the entire structure extremely versatile. This configuration makes the 90×135 profile an ideal solution for a wide range of operational contexts.

Integrated air channel
The light overhead crane section is the core of the KS line. With this range of products, Alusic offers solutions for handling suspended loads from 50 kg up to a maximum of 1,200 kg. Made from AC Alusic aluminum profiles, KS overhead cranes provide reliability, long-lasting durability, ease of design and assembly, without compromising a clean and refined design.
For this application, Alusic has developed five types of profiles, from the compact 90×60, ideal for light-duty applications and limited spaces, to the robust 180×90, designed for significantly higher load capacities. The 135×90 and 180×90 profiles also feature a dedicated channel for compressed air, making the line not only structurally strong but also multifunctional.
Completing the offer, the Alusic catalog includes various hoist models with capacities up to 1,000 kg, cable trolleys for cable management, and electrified sliding channels, which facilitate the power supply and use of tools and electrical devices connected to the line.
Beam Mounting
The KS line overhead cranes use special standardized mounting brackets, designed to ensure maximum compatibility with IPE steel beams. Different mounting options are available: fixed or articulated, the latter allowing a slight lateral tilt of the system. All versions are universal and can be adapted to IPE beams ranging from 73×140 mm up to 150×300 mm.
Each installation must also be equipped with steel safety cables to secure the crane in case of emergency.
For applications on different types of axes or ceilings, custom solutions can be developed in collaboration with the Alusic technical office.
Integrated Compressed Air, Zero Clutter
The overhead crane profiles 900.135.091 and 900.180.090L8 have been designed with a dedicated section that integrates a 50 mm diameter conduit, allowing – as with the multifunctional rail – compressed air drops to be created at any point along the line.
Thanks to over thirty years of experience in compressed air systems, Alusic has not only developed the profiles but also the related joints, feed lines, end caps, and brackets, ensuring a complete and reliable system. The line is certified for a maximum operating pressure of 8 bar.

Power-conducting duct
To prevent cable accumulations between trolleys—which can be annoying, unsightly, and potentially hazardous—it is possible to integrate plastic electrified ducts into the system. This reduces the risk of damage to power cables while allowing tools to be connected along the line safely, neatly, and efficiently.

Workbench arms
The final section of the KS line is dedicated to wall arms, column jib cranes, and bench-mounted arms. Depending on load capacity, they are divided into two categories: light arms and heavy jib cranes.
Light arms, including tool-holding and bench-mounted versions, are the ideal solution for supporting work at workstations and benches, for example by holding balancers and tools.
Heavy jib cranes, whether wall-mounted or column-mounted, are designed for handling loads of up to 200 kg, ensuring robustness and reliability even in the most demanding applications.
Integrated air passage
As with the rest of the KS line, light arms are also designed with an integrated air passage. This feature proves particularly useful when using pneumatic tools, as it ensures that the air supply is always available directly at the point of use. The integration of the duct reduces clutter and external tubing, improving workstation ergonomics and enhancing operational efficiency.
