Alusic’s extensive range of linear actuators offers multiple solutions for load handling. The two lines differ in the type of belt used and the loads they can support. The FC Light line uses T5 or AT10 belts; the guides in this section have medium-low load capacities. The FC Heavy line uses an innovative offset helical gear drive that enhances performance; the guides in this section have medium-high load capacities. Alusic has also expanded its range to include ball bearing guides and sliding carriages.

Linear axes

The Alusic FC Line redefines linear actuators by integrating them directly into the structure itself. By exclusively using Alusic structural profiles, the same employed for workbenches and frameworks, it eliminates the need for dedicated casings, optimizing space, costs, and maintenance. However, its true strength lies in total design flexibility: each actuator is custom-developed to perfectly adapt to the customer’s needs, rather than the other way around. An innovative solution that goes beyond standards and unlocks endless application possibilities.

This structure incorporates three types of linear actuators, all made with the same profile as the structure:
-The X-axis is driven by a standard actuator.
-The Y-axis features a customized actuator with a modified number of sliding pads.
-The Z-axis is equipped with a special actuator with a telescopic arm, operated by a combination of an idler belt and a rack-and-pinion system.

Standard linear axes

Alusic offers two different series of linear axes, each with its own characteristics
and adaptable according to the customer’s needs and requirements:

Light linear axes

Guides for light loads
T5 16mm and AT10 16 and 25mm belts
Operating temperatures between -20 and 80°C
Limited vibration and guaranteed quiet operation

Heavy linear axes

Guides for heavy loads
Belts with double helical profile, 25 and 50
Operating temperatures between -40 and 95°C

Alusic custom linear actuators originate from the standard FC line with slight modifications to meet specific needs. These customizations, such as doubling a carriage or using standard catalog components, optimize performance without requiring complex designs. A flexible, immediate, and cost-effective solution for targeted technical requirements.

The creation of special linear actuators is the flagship of the Alusic FC Line. Unlike custom models, which undergo only minor modifications, special actuators are completely redesigned by the technical department to meet the customer’s specific needs. These tailor-made solutions can include unique applications and the use of non-conventional materials, maximizing functionality and performance.
