Accessories

Accessories for aluminum profiles
Accessories of all types for structures and projects built using aluminum profiles. Alusic offers corner brackets, internal joints, hinges, handles, articulated joints, feet and wheels, as well as anchoring bases, telescopic columns, and many more.

In this catalog, we have gathered all the Alusic accessories used for assembling structures, conveyors, workbenches, and supports made with aluminum profiles. Organized into the four main lines—AC, BH, IM, and MC—based on their compatibility with slot types, you will find slot covers, nuts, screws, joints, anchoring bases, handles, and all essential accessories to complete your projects. In addition to these four main sections, there are three more dedicated categories: the first includes accessories specific to conveyor belts, such as side rails and guides; the second focuses on cable trays; and the third is dedicated to leveling feet and supports.

Cover profiles

The “slot covers” or “profile covers” for aluminum profiles are closure or protection elements made of plastic or rubber for aluminum profiles. They are used to seal or protect the edges of the profile, thus preventing the entry of dust, water, or other external elements that could damage the component and, consequently, the integrity of an assembled structure.

TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS
  • Suitable for all types of AC slots
  • Slot covers available in both rigid and soft PVC
  • Also available in aluminum

The fasteners section includes a wide assortment of rounded and cylindrical screws, square and T-nuts, washers, and caps, as well as everything needed to efficiently and effectively assemble structures and join aluminum profiles and bars.

TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS
  • Cylindrical, rounded, and hammer-head screws in galvanized steel and stainless steel
  • Square, spring, rectangular, flanged, and T-nuts
  • Washers and anti-rotation devices
  • Closure caps for screws and holes

Joints are special assembly devices essential for the proper fastening of multiple profiles, ensuring stability and strength while greatly facilitating the design and assembly phases. There are various types of joints, from internal to external, as well as articulated and self-tapping ones. The choice will depend solely on the type of structure you intend to build.

TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS
  • Internal and external joints, cam, self-tapping, angular, and linear joints
  • 2-way and 3-way joints, square and rounded
  • Quick orthogonal joints with 1 and 2 reference points
  • Articulated joints ranging from 30×30 to 45×90 sizes

Angular joints, or “brackets,” are a specific category of support and fastening accessories. They are the most commonly used joints in assembling structures made of aluminum profiles due to their ease of use. Typically, they are employed for the perpendicular connection between two profiles.

TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS
  • Angular joints in sandblasted aluminum, zamak, and stainless steel
  • Specific caps for each joint, in black and gray polyamide
  • Sizes ranging from 27×27 to 86×86

As the word itself suggests, feet or supports are the lower foundation of any structure assembled with aluminum profiles. Useful for balancing ladders or workbenches on uneven surfaces, they can also help distribute the weight of the entire structure properly. They can either rest on the ground or be anchored.

TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS
  • Fixed, articulated, and anti-vibration feet
  • Fixing bases and floor brackets, complete with caps
  • Load capacity ranging from 400 to 2200 kg

Wheels are installed at the lower ends of structures as a replacement for feet, allowing mobility for a ladder or workbench. There are different types of wheels: fixed wheels, useful for structures that need to move in a single direction; swivel wheels, used for gravity systems and structures that need to move in multiple directions; and finally, wheels with brakes, equipped with a safety mechanism to prevent unintentional movements.

TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS
  • Fixed, swivel, and swivel wheels with brakes
  • Rubber wheels with chrome steel supports
  • Load capacity ranging from 50 to 180 kg

Panels are screens used to separate two different environments, primarily for safety rather than aesthetic reasons. The panel or mesh is inserted into the slot of the profile and welded inside with the aid of seals and multi-purpose adhesives.

TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS
  • Safety fastening devices
  • Seals and multipurpose adhesives, in polyethylene and aluminum
  • Panels in PET, polycarbonate, aluminum, and laminate
  • Electrowelded steel mesh

Hinges are commonly used to fasten two rigid structures, such as a door, window, or cabinet door to a frame. They come in various sizes and dimensions and are made from different materials, including anodized aluminum, zamak, and polyamide.

TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS
  • Hinges in anodized aluminum, painted zamak, and polyamide
  • Pins with diameters of 3, 5, and 8 mm in AISI 303 stainless steel
  • Variable sizes and shapes

Handles can be installed on aluminum profiles to create doors and panels for safety enclosures, drawers, and workbenches. Some handles can be customized in terms of colors and structure by assembling tubes and profiles of the desired size with specific caps and supports.

TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS
  • Standardized and customizable handles
  • Durable materials with an aesthetic design
  • Variable sizes and shapes

This category includes a diverse range of accessories designed to optimize the efficiency of doors and, in general, aluminum structures, such as door stops, magnets, tool holders, and cable clamps.

TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS
  • Locks and latching devices for doors
  • Magnets and door stops, pins, and sliding trolleys
  • Lead counterweight assemblies, chains, and rotating pins
  • Safety limit switches and microswitches

LED lamps (short for Light Emitting Diodes) are an evolution of traditional lighting methods, generating light through semiconductors rather than gases or metallic filaments. Alusic’s LED systems incorporate all the photometric advantages of LEDs into these practical lamps, which can be easily inserted into the profile’s slot. This effectively removes bulky and outdated neon lamps, organizing and improving the order and efficiency of workstations.

TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS
  • Easy to install in the slot
  • Luminous efficiency of 79 lm/W (1200 lm/m)
  • L70(6K) lifespan of 248,000 hours
  • Body made of extruded aluminum alloy 6060T6

Tools and equipment necessary for the proper processing of aluminum profiles and the assembly of complex structures.

TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS
  • Drilling templates in aluminum complete with fasteners
  • Specific drill bits for aluminum profiles, ranging from 5.5 to 11 mm
  • Sets of hex keys and special adhesives
